la porte doree is a gem! my mom and i spent six nights in a superior twin room, and it was super comfortable and clean. we loved having a mini fridge and kettle for our breakfasts. so close to excellent restaurants like a boulangerie just across the street and a pizza place down the block. the staff was incredibly friendly and always available, making us feel at home.

La Porte Doree truly captures Parisian charm, especially with a delightful boulangerie just across the street for your morning croissants. I loved the local pizzazz at Au Bois—a bistro nearby—with its friendly vibe and tasty eats! Plus, the room had a kettle for those cozy in-room tea moments.
Now, let’s spill some tea, the rumble from the subway right below is like a soundtrack you never asked for! And breakfast? A tad basic for the adventurous eater—more variety would be a win, especially some proteins for us hungry travelers!

During my recent stay, I found the location very convenient with the metro station just outside. The staff offered assistance when I needed to drop off my bags before check-in. I appreciated the option to explore the area while waiting. I also enjoyed local pastries from the boulangerie nearby instead of breakfast at the hotel. This trip was a lovely road trip for me as a couple from Rome, balancing family time with the kids.
I experienced some noise from the nearby metro, which was a bit distracting. Also, I would have appreciated more consistent water bottle refills in the room.

The stay in the small but well-furnished room was overall pleasant, highlighted by an excellent shower and fantastic breakfast options. The location made exploring the area easy, with Metro access just a short walk away and a lovely park nearby. However, the elevator was tiny, making navigating luggage a bit tricky, and noise from the metro could disrupt the tranquil atmosphere at times.

Woke up each morning to the delightful aroma of the bakery across the street. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay truly special. The room was unexpectedly spacious and comfortable!
However, the noise from the nearby metro was noticeable, especially at night. While earplugs were supplied, I wished for a more tranquil sleep environment.

Had an amazing time with friends! We visited the Eiffel Tower and explored Bastille, both super easy to reach from the metro nearby. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of choices. Definitely check out the bakery across the street, it’s fantastic!
The only downside was the metro noise. it was a bit distracting at times, especially when it rumbled below. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying our trip.
